Micro-needling

What kind of device is used for micro-needling?
Our advanced, dial controlled Skinpen Device contains nine small micro-needles. This device allows us to change the depth of penetration making it suitable and comfortable for all areas to be treated at a controlled depth and speed.

How does micro-needling help? Our Skinpen treatment improves the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, acne scarring, hyperpigmentation, enlarged pores, and uneven skin texture. This controlled trauma to skin stimulates cells (fibroblasts) to produce more collagen. It can be beneficial for individuals looking to rejuvenate their skin and address various skin concerns.
Who is suitable for the treatment? It’s suitable for all skin types and can be used on the body to treat stretch marks and over all appearance and texture.
Is there downtime with the treatment?
There is very little downtime post treatment. The skin is expected to look pink/mildly sunburnt initially after treatment lasting up to 24 hours. Over the following days you may notice skin start to flake or feel rough, this is a normal reaction as the cells start to slough off. This can last up to 2 or 3 days.
