Julaine
JULÄINE™ is an innovative advancement designed to stimulate the skin’s natural collagen production, helping to smooth wrinkles and improve skin firmness for a refreshed, revitalized appearance, here at The Mayfield Clinic, Edinburgh.
What is JULAINE?
JULÄINE™ is a collagen-stimulating injectable formulated with synthetic poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), offering gradual and long-lasting skin rejuvenation. Unlike traditional dermal fillers, which are made from hyaluronic acid (HA) and provide immediate volume restoration.
PLLA works by activating the skin’s natural collagen production for smoother, firmer results over time. While hyaluronic acid fillers are ideal for instantly replacing noticeable volume loss, lasting up to 18 months, JULÄINE™ delivers a more progressive, regenerative improvement in skin quality.

Treatment
JULAINE stimulates the production of collagen, restoring elasticity, hydration and firmness with a truly natural result. The PLLA microspheres send a signal to your skin to produce collagen. As the product is absorbed your skin naturally tightens and lifts.
Treatment protocol is 2 – 3 treatments around one month apart, this is subject to consultation with your clinician. Unlike comparable treatments the molecules are spherical so this treatment does not require manual massaging during downtime.
Will Julaine work for me?
It’s a great option for those looking to rejuvenate their skin and achieve a more youthful glow. The difference between Julaine and Profhilo is that Julaine has can give a slightly more targeted treatment for specific areas of concern for example it is able to restore firmness where Profhilo is a hydrator that improves skin without adding volume.
